The Best and Most Serious People

August 2016, P47 told the Washington Post, āIām going to surround myself with only with the best and most serious people. We want top-of-the-line professionals.ā He repeated that claim over and over during the campaign.
His Secretary of Homeland Security was unable to define habeas corpus, while under oath during a Congressional hearing. Does anyone think she is the best possible person to head this Department?
His Secretary of Education confused AI with A1; and apparently had no knowledge of the Tulsa Race Massacre. Does anyone think she is the best choice to head any department?
His Secretary of Defense hosted a pre-operation non-secure SIGNAL chat, including emojis and a journalist, discussing details of an eminent deadly operation. Does anyone think he is a serious person?
His Secretary Health and Human Services has issued official reports which cites non-existing studies and he has fired scientists and professionals who were focused on keeping Americans safe. Does anyone think he is the most qualified for this position, which is critical for the health of Americans {much less does anyone think he is sane}?
But perhaps the most glaring example of P47s actual disregard for really finding the best people is Thomas Fugate. Fugate a 22-year-old, recent graduate of the University of Texas San Antonio was appointed by P47 to head the Center of Prevention Program and Partnership (C-P3). This Center has at its core, preventing terrorist activities; its budget it $18 million. Prior to that appointment, Fugate was an intern with the Heritage Foundation, a neighborhood gardener and a grocery clerk. In the preview of this administration the only real qualification is he worked on the P47 campaign and he had a loud pro MAGA presence on social media.
Most qualified, serious people. No, the only qualification is the willingness to publicly feeding P47s fragile ego. Are you feeling safer by having Fugate in that position?
